With WBAT you will be able to report, depending on your position, the following:
- A safety incident which has occurred and may or may not have caused injury to an individual or damage to property but still requires analysis by the SAC. (All Positions)
- A potential hazard you have recognized which, if analyzed and acted upon, could prevent future accidents. (All Positions)
- An Aviation Safety Action Report (ASAP). ASAP is a voluntary, self-reporting program, established in cooperation with the FAA, designed to identify and reduce possible flight safety concerns while offering possible protection from violations, penalties or sanctions. ASAP uses employee input to identify significant safety concerns and issues, operational deficiencies, non-compliance with regulations, deviations from company policies and procedures, and unusual events related to flight operations. (FAA Certificated Positions; Pilots, Mechanics and Avionics Technicians)
As stated in our Safety Policy below, no employee will ever suffer retaliation from management for submitting a valid report.
